報告摘要：Artificial Intelligence (AI) is nowadays everywhere. Without claiming to be an exhaustive overview of the field, this presentation will focus on a few questions raised by the large-scale developments of AI and the revolution it is bringing about, particularly in the field of signal and image processing. It will begin with a brief historical perspective and summarize the general principles, per se and in contrast to conventional approaches to data analysis. Potential benefits and risks will be discussed, including societal issues.
報告人簡介：Patrick Flandrin教授，法國科學院院士、法國國家科學研究中心（CNRS）主任研究員、法國裡昂高等師範學院教授、bet356手机版唯一官网“名譽教授”、IEEE會士、歐洲信号處理學會會士。2019至2022年，曆任法國科學院副院長、院長。2009至2019年，擔任法國信号和圖像處理學會主席。長期緻力于信息與信号處理方面研究工作，在非平穩信号時頻分析、多分辨率小波分析等領域取得了卓越成就和重要貢獻。曾獲國際光學工程學會“小波先驅獎”、IEEE信号處理學會“技術成就獎”、法國國家科學研究中心銀獎、法國榮譽軍團騎士勳章等重要獎項。發表相關學術論文300餘篇（H-Index 68），并撰寫了多本專著，如《時頻分析探索》(劍橋大學出版社，2018年)。
