He currently leads the research and development of the Language Grid, the purpose of which is to share various language resources as Web services and enable users to create new services. He received the Achievement Award of the Institute of Electronics, Information and Communication Engineers for this work in 2013. His research interests lie in services computing and multiagent systems. He founded the Technical Committee on Services Computing in the Institute of Electronics, information and Communication Engineers (IEICE) in 2012.
