報告簡介:
In this talk, we present an overview of scaling law research from the angle
of space and temporal perspective, which could generalize a large class of
research literature in the field. Specifically, it covers capacity,
connectivity, coverage and topology control etc. In addition, we also
introduce our results on MotionCast, which studies the capacity delay trade
off for mobile multicast.
In the end, we point out some future directions.

王新兵:上海交通大學教授/責任教授,博士生導師。中國計算機學會青年科學家獎2012,IEEE通信學會亞太區傑出青年研究獎(IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award 2009),IEEE通信學會傑出服務獎(IEEE ComSoc Outstanding Service Award 2010),第12屆霍英東基金獲得者(2010),上海市浦江人才(2008),中國計算機協會YOCSEF上海分會首屆IT新銳(2009)。一直從事大規模無線網絡性能分析的研究,針對随機無線網絡,提出"移動多播",解決了最優多播容量的問題,并研究了網絡的連接性、覆蓋性和認知性等一系列問題,揭示了大規模無線網絡的時間、空間和頻率關系。近五年,在IEEE Transactions發表/錄用30餘篇,國際會議ACM MobiCom 3篇、ACM MobiHoc 3篇、 IEEE INFOCOM 15篇;SCI他引103次。上海市技術發明二等獎(第一完成人)。
