報告摘要：
Game Theory Methodology and the applications to Economics and Social Sciences have recently been much enriched because of the rise of Internet and the huge number of people and huge amount of related data it has brought to us. In this work we discuss some of the challenges and new directions in this new frontier of interactions among human and algorithms, including ways that have changed our fundamental understanding and assumptions about the universe of agents new economic and social systems are going to operate on.
報告人簡介：
Xiaotie Deng got his BSc from Tsinghua University, MSc from Chinese Academy of Sciences, and PhD from Stanford University in 1989. He is currently a chair professor at Peking University. He taught in the past at Shanghai Jiaotong University, University of Liverpool, City University of Hong Kong, and York University. Before that, he was an NSERC international fellow at Simon Fraser University. Deng's current research focuses on algorithmic game theory, with applications to Internet Economics and Finance. His works cover online algorithms, parallel algorithms, and combinatorial optimization. He is an ACM fellow for his contribution to the interface of algorithms and game theory, and an IEEE Fellow for his contributions to computing in partial information and interactive environments.
鄧小鐵從清華大學獲得工學學士學位,中國科學院碩士學位,斯坦福大學博士。現任北京大學講席教授。他曾在上海交通大學、英國利物浦大學、香港城市大學和加拿大約克大學任教。此前,他是西門弗雷澤大學的加拿大自然科學與工程技術研究理事會的國際博士後研究員。科研工作長期集中在算法博弈理論,并應用于互聯網絡經濟和金融科技。近期研究工作包括機器學習與博弈論的交互，以及區塊鍊中的共識機制與博弈論分析以及激勵原理的應用。他因為對算法和博弈理論的交互研究的貢獻獲選ACM會士，并因其在非完全信息和交互環境計算的成就獲選IEEE會士。他的其它工作涵蓋了在線算法、并行算法和組合優化算法，對納什均衡計算複雜性做出PPAD完全性的刻畫，對莫比烏斯環上不動點計算做出PPA完全性的刻畫，以及近期的對八面體Tucker問題的PPA完全性刻畫。
